    An odd number is a number that is lonely.

    A prime number is a number that’s better than the others, as in prime real estate.

    A composite number is a number that’s made of other numbers, like 17 is made from “1” and “7”, and 8 which is a zero on top of another zero.

    A rational number makes sense when you’re looking at it, but later you wonder if it was all just an act.

    An irrational number makes no sense when you’re looking at it, but later you wonder if it was all just an act to avoid the death penalty.
