    WTF 20.03.2009

    I somehow ended up with a United Airlines ticket that lacked my “Mileage Plus” (frequent flyer) number.  Fortunately, one can ostensibly add their account number through a simple webpage.  This is the result:

    There Is No Error

    Uhh…

    Blërg.

      Next you’ll be asking for “predictive error messages” — messages explaining things you’re likely to do wrong later in the session. For example, “You will forget to enter your ZIP code”, “your password will be expired”. Eventually this technology will be installed in elevators.
