Me: Does it rock?
Colleague: It does not.

Huey Lewis sang the “heart of rock-and-roll is in Cleveland”, or something like that — had a good beat, easy to dance to, the words great but I didn’t like the lyrics. But it’s no coincidence that the Cleveland has a world-renowned heart clinic.
Rock was supplanted by dance then hip-hop then … well, I don’t know because radio became unlistenable a few years ago and MP3 players made music a personal experience instead of part of our shared/mass/pop culture.
Does Cleveland rock? Only on certain playlists.
