It’s “great” is certainly in the eye of the beholder. To the torturer it would mean “effective”. To the torturee it would mean “better than sex”. To almost everyone else it should mean “interesting, but don’t try it”.
Having said that and being opposed to the torture and the death penalty, I think Scotland should have released the convicted Lockerbie terrorist at 30,000 feet.
