More significantly, air travel is slowly returning to something only the well-to-do can afford.  Flying anywhere takes two days -- one inbound, one outbound -- reducing vacation, family or other time.  Surcharges for fuel, gate, meals and luggage push up the price.  To get through security, you basically need to re-purchase your toiletries in 3oz packages.  Most people don't have the time, patience or money to be jet-setters anymore.</description>
